AMD announced new Ryzen 5000 Series CPUs for the AM4 socket Wednesday, more than a year after launching the AM5 platform. AMD markets the new chips to “more price-conscious users, or those who already have a PC with an AMD socket AM4 platform,” the company stated. The three new 5000-series chips range from $125-240.
